The Tower is the sudden fall; the Ten of Swords is the painful end of a long struggle. Together they say the worst has happened or is happening, and that it cannot get lower. The Ten's dawn sky is the key: an end is also a turning point. ## The two cards ### The Tower Sudden change, revelation, awakening. Lightning strikes what was built on sand. Upheaval clears the ground for truth. [Full meaning](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/learn/tarot/tower). ### Ten of Swords Completion and legacy · air. The fullness of thought, truth and communication. A cycle completes, for joy or for release. [Full meaning](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/learn/tarot/ten-of-swords). ## In love A painful ending or betrayal coming to light. It closes the story so you can heal. ## Work and money A failed project or job loss that, however hard, ends a draining situation. ## Advice Let it be over. Accept help and turn towards the sunrise. ## Yes or no Leans no. Yes-or-no readings are a rough guide; the cards' story matters more than the verdict. ## If a card is reversed Reversed, the The Tower reads as: avoiding a necessary upheaval, or a change that is happening inwardly. Reversed, the Ten of Swords reads as: a burden or ending in thought, truth and communication that is ready to be put down. A reversal softens, delays or turns the pair's message inward. ## Related combinations - [Death and The Tower](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/tarot-combinations/death-and-tower): sudden, total change - [The Tower and The Star](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/tarot-combinations/tower-and-star): rebuilding after a shock - [The Devil and The Tower](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/tarot-combinations/devil-and-tower): breaking free - [Death and Ten of Swords](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/tarot-combinations/death-and-ten-of-swords): a definite ending ## Questions **What do the The Tower and Ten of Swords mean together?** Rock bottom, and the end of it.
