The Ten of Swords adds exhaustion and pain; Death adds the promise of transformation. The message is that holding on now only prolongs the hurt. ## The two cards ### Death Endings, transformation, release. Not a literal ending, but a door closing so another can open. Let the old season fall away. [Full meaning](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/learn/tarot/death). ### Ten of Swords Completion and legacy · air. The fullness of thought, truth and communication. A cycle completes, for joy or for release. [Full meaning](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/learn/tarot/ten-of-swords). ## In love A relationship has run its course. Allow the grief and the new start. ## Work and money A role or project is finished. Draw a line under it. ## Advice Let it end fully so something new can begin. ## Yes or no Leans no. Yes-or-no readings are a rough guide; the cards' story matters more than the verdict. ## If a card is reversed Reversed, the Death reads as: clinging to what has passed. Change is asking to be allowed. Reversed, the Ten of Swords reads as: a burden or ending in thought, truth and communication that is ready to be put down.
